Gen Z doesn’t like bloat and burn

There are TikTok videos trending exhibiting Gen Z drinkers decarbonating bubbly beverages like White Claw with a milk frother.

Molson Coors used this phenomenon to launch Happy Thursday, a non-carbonated spiked drink.

“Still beverages” (non-carbonated/non-nitrogenated) are, well, flat beverages. They’re not exactly new, but they have seen substantial growth in the canned beverage sector.

U.S. Non-carbonated Soft Drinks Market shows 7.2% CAGR growth from 2022 to 2028, indicating an increasing appetite in uncarbonated beverages.
